Here are a couple of pix of me and my gf from the walk.

This is my GF Ronnette, before we started walking she was so concerned about how fast we were going to walk..LOL I did a leisurely stroll for all 6 miles LOL




This was a banner someone was carrying, which I thought was cute, our co-worker Shaneequa's favorite color is pink and someone was walking for Team Shaniqua and the t-shirt that it was written on was a pink shirt. I can't wait for her to see this pix

Overall the walk was great and I can't wait to do the breast cancer walk. That is only 3.1 miles. It was so worth it and there were so many people. They fed us along the way with alot of goodies. At the end they gave out condoms and t-shirts, orange juice and bananas.

You go girl. I am so proud of you and Ronette.

Wendy, my legs are aching, walking is so different than regular working out. I exercise every day and for some strange reason, my left groin area and behind my knees are so sore.

Tammy you know how to make a girl feel good. Thanks sweetie. I still feel 12 tho

Shamma some hugs for you for bearing the pain for a good cause. Sounds like your probably stretched out your knee ligaments and that is why the backs of your knees hurt. When you get home lay on your stomach and have hubby put ice packs (or a bag of frozen veggies) on the backs of your knees. That should help. I hope you feel better

Wendy, I will take your advice. I was considering going to the gym after work, but I do not think I can manage Hey its not going to stop me from making it to Ann Taylor and Express at lunch tho I will crawl on my knees there.
