So I have two appointments this week with a photo/videography and an appt next week with a DJ...

Any particular questions that I should know to ask

For the videography:
ask if you get an uncut as well as cut version. and make sure he/she will follow your instructions. I don't want them to go around and put the mic in everyones face so we will be skipping that.
As for the photographer:
Ask if you get all the proofs not just the ones they deem album worthy. Check your package to make sure it has everything you need. If it doesnt ask if you can make subs (like less ty cards for another 8'x10').
for both photo & dj: make sure you have a specific person whose work you have checked written into your contract. If they won't write it in go elsewhere. My brother had his dj switched on him and the guy who showed up sucked and even yelled at my sil at her wedding.

will the person you are speaking with be taking the photos?

how many photographers? do you get an assistant?

engagement session? is it extra? included?

how long does it normally take after the wedding to get your proofs?

do they do black&white? sepia? color?

can you buy the negatives or files ? if so how much?

what size albums do they offer? if so how many pics do you get with the album?

How much addl is it if you want more pictures in the album?
