it all depends if ur church does pre cana...ours did not so it costs us 195 bucks ..the church 'donation' was 500 and there is no focus test in queens

My church is $425 for church, organist, alter servers, and cleanup, and then another $75 for precana.

I just called my church and the receptionist told me that only one of us would have had to made our communion and comformation in order to get married int he church. Which means .....:::::Drum roll:::: We can get married in the church if we choose

Now with that said and if I speak with FH and he decided on that. How much do you normally have to 'donate' and do you have to pay for pre-cana? And what the heck is foccus? I know its alot but you love me and love my questions

it depends the church and how your church does it.. but the church i belong to, from my town where me and fh are getting married we had to do pre-cana (3 nights) and we paid 85 bucks for it!! and the foccus we had to do 1 night as well, but that you dont pay for.. that is just something you have to do!!

and it depends how your church works.. but mine we actually have to pay an exact fee he gave us, they dont go by donations and 'what you want' to give them.. its a big rip off im telling you, to get married we have to pay the church a fee of about 1200!!!!!!!!!!!! =/
