Good News/ Bad News Kind of Day...update on page 2

The good news is, my photographer called this morning to schedule my Engagment pictures, and engagement video shoot. October 23rd! Yay!!

The bad news is, 5 minutes later my dad called to tell me that they have to amputate part of my mother's foot. She's been in the hospital for over a week now... the surgery will either be tomorrow or friday.

We were supposed to go to our Hamptons house for the day... but now i'm really not in the mood.
Maybe some time at the ocean will help clear my head...

Prayers for my mother are greatly appreciated.

I just want to thank all of you for your kind words, and overwhelming support.

My mom made it through the surgery today. She sounds up beat and possitive, but we'll have to wait and see how she responds over the next few days.
She was still groggy from the anesthesia when I spoke to her, so i'm not sure of exactly what they did.

I'm sorry for not replying to messages sooner. I left for our summer house basically right after posting this. I just needed to clear my head and get my thoughts together.
I just got home about 15 minutes ago.

Thanks again. I knew I could count on you girls to help me through this.

I just realized there was an update. Glad to hear that the surgery went well. I will continue to pray.

Glad to hear your mom's surgery was successful. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts....It is nice to see you were able to also get some good news on such a crazy day that you get to have your e-pics done!
