FH's cousin (RB's mother) just found out today that after months and months of trying to have another baby, she is PREGNANT!!! She has been through so much with trying to get prego and I am SO happy for her. FH and I are really close to her and her husband. She just told me online that she'll be due around the wedding. She said that if the baby is just a week or so old, she will take the RB to the church and then go back home. This makes me sad because I want her and her family to be able to share in our day While I am SOOOO HAPPY for her, I feel sad that she might not make it to the wedding.

I am happy that is great news.. however I am sorry that she might not be there.. Hopefully it all works out and she can be there .. I will pray that she has a healthy baby and yet still gets to be there..

I guess in the long run its just about her having a healthy baby!!! I would love for her to share in our day though (my own selfish reasons)

I can totally empathize. We have friends that are due 8 days before our wedding and although they say if the baby is early or late, they will be there... I know it's unlikely. We are totally bummed bc we want them to share the day with us, but at the same time are VERY happy for them. I think it's understandable to feel this way!

You never know, they might be able to make it. Don't get sad yet. FH's cousin is due in June, but I'm trying to be optimistic that they'll be able to attend our wedding!!

I am sorry. I understand your pain. My brother's wife is due with their first baby 1 week before my wedding. My brother was supposed to walk me down the aisle. He is like my twin, we are so close, and he can't be there because they live in Florida and the wedding is in NY. It makes me sad / happy at the same time. I am just thankful that they are being blessed with a baby and I am going to be an aunt!
