Good news /Work Vent/...

So few days ago I asked my boss for few Saturdays off, he said ok which to me meant that I am back to working Monday through Friday... so he called me like an hour ago, yelling at me that just because he said OK to me having Saturdays off but that doesnt mean that I will work on Fridays... he said Fridays are slow and he doesnt need two people working on that day... well if I worked every other Friday that would mean that one week I would have only 32 hours I told him thats not enough hours so he tells me you can work every other Saturday, it was like talking to a retard so I told him if he doesnt like it I might not work at all... so imagine he tells me you can work 2 months and then leave and during this time he will find someone new lol who does he think I am an idiot? I will train someone new and then leave? I dont think so buddy so I told him I would come tomorrow for my money and my check and adios
I like the job but it is not worth it, I run this agency for him, he doesnt do anything and he treats me like this? I dont think so... time to move on if you cant appreciate it, good-bye

Aga - I was in a bad position a few years back and I had to leave with no job lined up. Dont be upset because believe me - its worth it!!!! You are worth more than that. Sanity is more important than money!

I know it is good and all, but hell I need money to pay for this wedding I thought I would look for something and then leave but he made me sooo mad, I just felt so used there has to be something better for me out there

Aga-I am so proud of you! That job is a terrible place for anyones well being - you can't be around that kind of negativity and abuse when you are engaged and supposed to be on cloud 9!

thank you, thats what I keep telling myself, but I cant afford to sit at home we need money and I am just scared that I wont find anything

OH- that sucks!!!! i'm sooooooooooo sorry... but yes, you are right.. you DON'T need to be there if he's treating you like that!!! and you've been having bad days there lately... so maybe you'll be much happier elsewhere!

you are not stupid for giving it your all! it would be beneathe you to give any less than that. HE is just the stupid one for not appreciating it! It shows ALOT of character that you gave your all despite the A-HOLE you were dealing with. i know it's extremely tough with the wedding coming up, but you Will find a job-- and one that you get treated the way you SHOULD!! you're an amazing person, just trust that good things do come to good people!!!
