Good news /Work Vent/...

So few days ago I asked my boss for few Saturdays off, he said ok which to me meant that I am back to working Monday through Friday... so he called me like an hour ago, yelling at me that just because he said OK to me having Saturdays off but that doesnt mean that I will work on Fridays... he said Fridays are slow and he doesnt need two people working on that day... well if I worked every other Friday that would mean that one week I would have only 32 hours I told him thats not enough hours so he tells me you can work every other Saturday, it was like talking to a retard so I told him if he doesnt like it I might not work at all... so imagine he tells me you can work 2 months and then leave and during this time he will find someone new lol who does he think I am an idiot? I will train someone new and then leave? I dont think so buddy so I told him I would come tomorrow for my money and my check and adios
I like the job but it is not worth it, I run this agency for him, he doesnt do anything and he treats me like this? I dont think so... time to move on if you cant appreciate it, good-bye

well he apologized, at the end I got what I wanted... anyways, I will take it back so I have income while I am looking for something else... I have good relationships with a lot of people that we deal with everyday and I have made some phone calls already... I will let you know how it goes, but today it is looking up

so I went to an interview yesterday to this big agency that issues our tickets and tickets of other travel agencies... I had a recommendation from a girl that handles our account... so the interview went very well... because the business is slow they dont need a new person until beginning of next year... which is fine with me since I have some things to finish here... so I am going to work there right after new year's... I am so excited it means more money, regular hours, insurance, 401k almost everything that I dont have here... and I will have a normal lunch

you know what the best part is? you deal with travel agents that know what they are talking about not people off the streets, which is most stressful part of this job...

Hooray! Thats so great - I went from working off the books in an abusive job to a totally legit one, and I am a billion times happier - stability is a wonderful thing!
I knew it would work out...
