Good news/bad news!!

I am angry............................................

I did not know that RK bridal would be so booked for dress alterations/fitting.....on the weekends....my mom is my right hand person helping me with everything..and she is only off on sat/sun. The next appt. to see my dress is not until late April..--

All in all..the final dress alteration..will be in July...so, I will be picking up my dress the week of my wedding.. 2 close for comfort.

I had no clue to book early..i was waiting for the darn dress to be delivered to the store.

Good news..is we got our Bands yesterday!!!!

i also got my dress from RK, it came in way early, and when i went in to see it (make sure it was the right dress, try it on, etc), they scheduled the fittings then already for july! my dress will be ready one week before the wedding, which i thought was close but with 3 fittings total, i guess it will be okay.

My dress came in late... I get so nervous..some time. If it is the wrong dress..technically speaking..I will flip on them.. Now, I have to wait to find out if this is the correct one..

I hope everything is ok.---I just wish i knew to schedule the appt. early....

But, I am happy about the bands...

I got my dress at RK. I am not sure if you are talking about alterations or just trying on your dress. I went to see mine after I got it. I just had to call that day and ask them to bring it down. They were fine with doing it for me.

My appt. to try on is not until late April--then if I want alterations..or if i need it..will be scheduled..for june through...July..... My only problem is mom is off on Sat/Sun... There really, isn't to much appt. availability for the weekends.

I ordered my dress from Nov. 2003.

I wish..I would have scheduled..the appts.. before time to make sure..I could get fitted. If the dress was not in, I could have easily rescheduled. Had no clue..they would be so booked for dress fittings...

Sorry no experience with RK Bridal, but I can understand it's pretty frustrating...at least you can check bands off of your list.

I totally know what you mean. My dress came in like 2 weeks ago and as much as I want to go try on now, I can't because of work restrictions. I'm hoping to go tomorrow, but not even sure. It sucks we can only go during the week and they don't have evening hrs. Good luck to you and hopefully it will all be ok.

I ordered my dress at RK Bridal in Nov. 2003 also, but I lied about my wedding date which is 7/25; I told them 6/5. Although I have my final fitting at the end of May, I may have screwed myself b/c if I need alterations after that, I have to find someone to do it

i don't understand..why can't you continue there and finish the alterations you started?
