Good place on LI to get appraisals?

Just wondering if there was any place that people can recommend to get the rings appraised. Thanks!!

MY jeweler is a fellow pool player (although I've known him a heck of a lot longer than I've been playing). Van Chion Jewelers on Jericho in Huntington - and yes, you drove by it last night!!

Janna, Deborah in Manhasset rocks....she gives you a detailed 7 page report & takes a picture of the ring & spends about an hour doing it. She'll answer any q's you may have & she's great. I highly recommend her.

CALL around for prices before you go too. SOme places charge a lot more than others. They won't give you an exact price but will give you an estimate of how much the appraisel will be.

Bunty's Jewelers is great!

There is one in Smithtown and one in Commack.

The best part - It's $35 per written appraisal - no matter what the style or value of the ring!

ETA: I called a place and they said $180, which seems like A LOT
