Wow. That is a bit much. It really depends on the types of flowers. Some places charge extra for lillies and exotic flowers. If you can get any flowers any size you want, go for it. Before you get your cps, see if you can get a deal with the hall. My hall gave me a 25 dollar credit toward the cps, but I am using wedding world for the rest of my flowers

Really?! That's not a bad idea! We are not using anything too fancy...roses, hydrangeas, and maybe some calla's but not really sure yet

oh boy.... sticker shock! I'm just about to get started with the whole floral stuff.... so I haven't been primed on what to expect... I am SO not prepared to spend thousands on flowers.....

seems a bit much .. who did you use? I was quoted at $1700.00 from Flower Barn and I have:
1 bridal bo-k 1 MOH bo-k 4 BM bo-k 1 JBM bo-k bo-k for FG about 12 bouts about 8 coursages 10 pew bows blessed mother bo-k 18 cp's (low with all fall flowers) rose petals for cake table, card table and around each CP throw away bo-k

I think $1700 is more in the price range.
Visit other places with exactly what you want and see what other quotes are given to you.

I am getting similar things...no FG or RB and I forgot to add the readers on. I was quoted $1500...depends on the type of flowers though. I am using tulips and calla lillies.
I would have to agree that it seems a bit high... We're paying $2900 for:
15 high cps 1 bridal bouquet 2 MOH bouquets 3 BM bouquets 1 FG basket and petals 12 bouts 7 corsages chuppah and chuppah flowers petals for the aisle and tables

mmm i think you could probably get a few more CP's for that price but you're getting a lot of other stuff too so it's not too bad! have you gotten any bids from Flower Michele? Definitely go check them out and ask for John!!

I think it is a fairly good price ( i would still shop around) but keep in mind that you have 2 MOH, 2 FGs, 2 RBs, flowers for your readers--that will bring your price up-taking that into consideration I think its close but a little higher then it needs to be-I am paying 1800 and I have NO FGs or RBs and no flowers for readers! I also have less GMs and BMs also.
I would definitely recommend you check out other florists, have you gone to Flower Michele yet?
