Good RH for a Sunday afternoon wedding, approx 160 people?
Hello I am totally new at this wedding stuff. I got engaged last Saturday and we are already looking at halls. Wedding is going to be March 2011 on a Sunday. Can anyone be kind enough to suggest halls good for about 150 to 170 people? We have an appt at the Riviera on Sat. Any suggestions would be a huge help to me.

We are getting married at Westbury Manor in the Manor room in February 2010. The room minimum for us on a Sunday afternoon was 150. FM if you want any more details.

Larkfield Manor is beautiful. I'm having a smaller wedding, my friend is having a big wedding there next weekend and she said they really worked with her on price and gave her alot for her money.

Thanks everyone. After doing some research, I decided to call these places for a look:
Westbury manor Lakefield manor Jerico Terrace
And I was glad to see some people picked them.
How is the food at the swan club? Their website did not have a menu.

We are getting married at Flowerfield in St. James. The ballroom can hold up to 300 people

My cousin just looked at the Swan Club for a Sunday afternoon wedding...I think she will book it. The grounds are so gorgeous! I can only imagine the pictures you would get there in the afternoon!!

hi, i'm not on this site much anymore (got married in '08), but i logged in and saw your post so i thought i'd respond
we got married on a sunday afternoon at the swan club and i honestly cannot say enough about how perfect it was! the grounds are PERFECT for an afternoon wedding and our photos look like a dream b/c of all the flowers in the background. the food was REALLY good as well and we really felt like you get a lot of bang for your buck! if you have any questions, feel free to FM me anytime. also, i think if you click onto my profile, you can see my review. i would definitely recommend paying the SC a visit! good luck and congrats!

If you don't mind spending a little more money.. Flowerfield has a huge ballroom and it's only one event at a time - the whole venue is yours. It's huge and beautiful.
