...and I'm not done planning...
...and that doesn't include the $15k honeymoon.

We've had the exact opposite problem while planning. We keep saying - oh it's only $100 more than we expected let's just do it. Apparently the $100 here and there adds up! We'll def be cutting back on everything that is left for booking. It's amazing how quickly it all adds up!

Sorry to hear that. I said goodbye to my budget a while ago when I decided to have a Saturday wedding and have a band. I still have to recalculate everything but I think I'm going to die when I see the amount!!

I dont think the Knot gives good budget estimates. There are some fields that are pre-filed already and which are completely unrealistic. Some RH's will cost people about 20K, and the Knot estimates it at like $ 3K or something like that...
I didnt even know this budget existed on the Knot. I am doing old - fashioned paper and pen! I just have 2 columns:
$$ IN BANK --> $$ SPENT and all the stuff listed under each

I am in the same situation I am over our budget by like 10,000 but you know what I feel like live alittle LOL you only have a huge wedding once.

I agree - not realistic. I adjusted all the numbers to fit what I'd be spending. So it really turns out to be the same as an excel spreadsheet. Nevertheless I budgeted $X and now I've spend $X+$5800!!
