has anyone used jillian from gorgeous faces for makeup and lauren for hair. how are they? what has everyone experiences been???

I will be using Jillian for my wedding next week, but I am using Sara for hair. I had a trial with them and for the most part I loved it. There are a few things I am changing for the big day but I went to them with no ideas!

I used Jillian for my wedding last year (a year ago this Sat!!!) and I loved her! She did me, my Mom, MOH and two BM and one of my readers. They all loved her also. The makeup stayed on all day and was perfect. I don't think I've looked that good since then! And Jillian is a doll, she made me relax and laugh that morning when I was so tense and nervous - I was glad to have her there.

i am glad to hear that. i only heard about her through these boards. i know it's only my engagement party, but i still want it to look nice. i saw your wedding pic (septemberbride) and though you looked beautiful.

I'm not sure about the kind of make-up. I rarely wear any make-up and I frist I felt like it was way too much! But it is good for pictures.. I will post a link to my pics. You will see in the first few right after I had my make-up done it loks really dark. She said it takes a little while to set... then you will see in the later pics it looks much better. I told her to do what she thinks will look good on me. I described my dress too. Then she just did it. I am very happy with the colors she chose but the one thing that doesn't look like me is the way she did the eyeliner. My eyes are a 'long' shape in real life but in the pics they look really round. It just doesn't look like me. So I found some pics of make-up with the way I want the eyes to look and she is going to do that for the wedding. http://www.liweddings.com/chat/topic.aspx?ID=144450&P=1

julie i have that same problem w/ my eyes whenever i have my makeup done. they looked sooo round and not like me. that is a good idea to bring pictures. maybe i will do the same. i don't wear a lot of makeup either so i want it to be light and natural. i am going to take a look at your pictures though too

I used Jillian and I loved her!! She does beautiful makeup and is sooo nice! She did my mom and MIL also and their makeup looked amazing too. The makeup she uses is Jane Iredale . She told me it's professional makeup that they use for tv and photo shoots and stuff.
