I cant believe it!! FH enterted into this lottery, its called The Long Island Housing Partnership... its a program that helps first time buyers get a house for an AMAZING price. FH's brother and fiance did it, and they won and got their house in Plainview. Last week was our drawing and we got picked!! Number 29 out of 30!! I was sooo happy I couldnt believe it. Theres still aways to go, they still need to be finished built and we need to get a moragage now. The houses are in MAssapequa for those of you that are around there, they are the new townhouses that are going up by the mall area...its called the Seasons.

How is this program different from you just contacting a broker? Do you get the house for cheaper?
