Got a wedding invitation in the mail today...........

and there was NO RSVP card.....just a peice of cut out printer paper (1' x 3') that was photocopied and we had to check the box off if we were attending and send it back in the envelope they provided which did NOT have a stamp!

Maybe I'm annoyed easily today, but whatever reason......I'm annoyed with this inviation/rsvp thing..........

They even put all 4 places they are registered at on their INVITATION. Now I'm the type of person that woud rather have the registry info, but put it on a seperate card or something.....not on the invite itself........

k, done venting.......off to look for a stamp for the rsvp respone!

seriously...no real RSVP...no stamp....photocopy....AND registry info ON the invite

i'm sorry but those are some klassy ppl.

are they on a super tight budget or something, do you know? i'm assuming they made the invitations themselves---the only way i could even justify that RSVP (which looks like an enlarged fortune cookie insert) and such, would be if they are having a small affair that is very low-budget/low-key.

if this is not the case, then i'm at a loss for words.

ETA: JUST in case, i'd probably take the invite OUT of the post--cause you might find that someone on here knows the ppl and also got invited or something, and then tells the bride you posted this!

The invitation itself its nice (its obviously home made) but its nice...however the listing of the registered places on the invitation is not cool...and that RSVP...well Im speechless...I mean even if they are on a tight budget..thats not acceptable..

ETA: and the father is a doctor!!! They must not be that broke lol

It's the daughter of one of the doctors at the hospital that my FH works at.......... I'm confused too

wow...that's weird. cause you'd think they'd want to 'keep up appearances' and have a nice, etiquette friendsly invite to send out.

i know there are plenty of 'budget brides' out there, but even those $20 DIY invitation kits from AC Moore have nice cards for the RSVP's!!! and putting registry information ON an invitation is so tacky it makes me want to puke.

'You are invited and shop HERE for our gift!'

that's just terrible. at least make a SEPARATE card ppl!
