Got a wedding invitation in the mail today...........

Got a wedding invitation in the mail today...........

and there was NO RSVP card.....just a peice of cut out printer paper (1' x 3') that was photocopied and we had to check the box off if we were attending and send it back in the envelope they provided which did NOT have a stamp!

Maybe I'm annoyed easily today, but whatever reason......I'm annoyed with this inviation/rsvp thing..........

They even put all 4 places they are registered at on their INVITATION. Now I'm the type of person that woud rather have the registry info, but put it on a seperate card or something.....not on the invite itself........

k, done venting.......off to look for a stamp for the rsvp respone!

NOPE, no stamp. I guess it just annoyed me becasue of all the time I know I'll be putting into our invites.....I would NEVER not put a stamp on the envelope......I know it's a small thing.....i can just as easity put one on and send this RSVP out......but geeeeeez!!

Maybe we'll get them a book of stamps for a wedding gift!!!!

You are completely right........I shouldn't be like this......I know...... I think I'm over it.......I guess I was just mad becuase I didn't have any stamps at home......and now I have to get some!!!

That's annoying... I bet people won't RSVP b/c there's no stamp. Not on purpose, but b.c they'll forget to get a stamp.

ETA: You are NEVER supposed to mention gifts/registries on or with a wedding invitation either. Shower invites, yes. But NEVER the wedding invites.

Well I have to disagree with this. I am going to put my registry info with my invite (on a seperate card tho, but on the invitation itself) the reason why Im doing this is because I am probably not having a shower (not many people will show) and if I dont have a shower no one is going to know where I registered...so I have to do it this way

Where are these people from? Maybe they were drunk and forgot the stamp? I have never heard of such a thing!

why didn't they just wipe their butts with it and mail it to you....would have been JUST as T A C K Y

seriously...no real RSVP...no stamp....photocopy....AND registry info ON the invite
