My humira isnt working. I was so hopeful. The derm took me off of it. Ive had infection after infection on it. My leg is infected and swollen to twice the size and he gave me 5 scripts. Ugh.
The prob is now im on nothing for my crohns. Im going for my 2nd CT scan to check on the severity of my blockage and have a follow up to decide on surgery.
So disappointed and depressed over it. :(

oh, Amy! That is awful news, I'm so sorry! I just read up on crohns and I'm sorry you have to deal with this.
Keep us updated and take it easy...I hope you don't have to have surgery

i know the crohns is bad..surgery etc...but what really makes me sad is the skin issue. This is my 1st thin summer and I wanna wear shorts!

I am sooooo sorry for you It is so frustrating when you feel a treatment will work and it doesn't. I am going though something like that with my arm I have arare thing called kienbocks and it ***** and I found out in feb after my 2nd surgery on it that I will have to undergo a few more. I hope you do not need surgery and everything turns out good for you

oh no!!! amy i'm so sorry to hear this! is there liquid in your leg? and if so, can they drain it for you? or is it just swollen? i t hought crohns just affected like your stomach and stuff, it affects different parts of your body too?

the infection is from my psoriasis and the fact i have NO immune system at the moment from the shots I was taking.
sadly im not even concentrating on the crohns situation. im all sorts of upset over the skin issue and infection.

Oh my goodness...I am so sorry to hear this. My husband has Crohn's disease and it can be terrible. Ihope everything works out for you hun!
