I got my first card yesterday from a distant cousin who's not coming to the wedding with a check in it!! I had no idea people would still send us something even if they werent coming to the wedding!! woohoo I dont have to pay for them to be there and I STILL get something! LOL
Funny thing is...the wedding is in 24 days...the rsvp's were due quite awhile ago and they put the response card IN the envelope with the wedding card & check. What the heck is wrong with people? I wonder if they pealed my stamp off the envelope and reused it since they didnt send it back to me?

Thats cutting it a (little) close. Then again...I was the eager beaver who HAD to get them back by July14 so I could patiently track people down for 3 weeks untill I got the final head count!! lol

hahahah well, I'm the LAST sibling in my family to get married so the seating charts are already laid out for me... plus my side of the family is used to weddings by now so HOPEFULLY I'll be alright...
So far, so good... I still have a week and I've gotten back MOST of what we sent out.

hey date twins we made our response date August 14th -- I was afraid of FH's family not being timely since he isn't close with the extended family
we also got 2 checks too from people not coming

Hi Date Twins!! It's a 9/14 Brides Convention! My RSVP date is today since I sent out my invites a little late. Still need 18 people to respond!! No checks from people not coming though...
