My wedding is in March of 07, but just wanted to let you know to check out the Hampton Inn on North Ocean Avenue. The group rate for the rooms for the wedding were $99 a night. It's the cheapest I've found on eastern LI, and I went into the rooms, and they were clean and nice. Just wanted to let you know!

Lucky you - I am using them for my wedding July 21 and the rate is $159! I guess the difference in the season makes a HUGE difference!

Also the Marriott in Islandia gave us a room rate of $99.00 for us and our guests.

That's great! My OOTers are staying at the Radisson on the opposite corner. FH did a good job of negotiating too and got them down to $99. Congrats!

I tried to block there, but they did not have any blocks available. I did block at the Hampton Inn Islandia for $129/night -Labor Day weekens. So, not horrible.
