I went to get measured for my BM dress for my best friend's wedding last night and I realized that I need to get going on the weight loss SOON! She is getting married July 2005 and I am getting married July 2006.

The woman at the store was very nice but kept telling me how 'snug' the sample dress was on me as we were deciding what size to order. And she even wrote on the receipt 'Needs 10...8 too snug'

She was like its ok in the bust section but your waste is the trouble spot or something. I was so upset!

Those dresses ALWAYS run small, please don't feel bad. I've gotton over having to order a size thats 2-3 sizes up from what I normally wear. Just remember, you want to be comfortable. I just did the same thing for my best friends wedding for June 05. Chances are you'll need to get it altered down.

They also ALWAYS order the dresses really big so that they can charge you as much $$ as possible for alterations
