Got my blood work results and

I am pre-diabetic...I don't drink soda but I do eat a lot of pasta (I am italian can't live without pasta) I don't put sugar in my coffee but I love my french vanilla... I can't give this up!!
This stinks!

I just got that news toooo .. are they saying to watch what you eat now? my dr wants me to go on metformin (?)

It stinks, but better to know now. There's lots of ways to correct without feeling deprived. If nothing else, it's a wake up call to correct the issue before it becomes a real problem. Do some online research and you'll probably feel a lot better and more empowered.

My doctor told me to watch what I eat and go back in a few months for more blood work... My number was 117..
Do you think I should get another oppinion??

I am also taking thyroid pills .88 mg and now she said I have to take a higher 125 mg, plus I take B12 shots- ugggg

there are a lot of things you can change. whole wheat pasta is good too!

I know it will be ok.... I am going to try to put a lot of fish, chicken and veggies in my diet.... As far as the International delight (french vanilla) I am going to miss you so but I have to give the sugar free on a try.....
