SO I went dress shopping yesterday with my mom, MOH (sister) and one of my BMs. I had my appointment with Betty at Macy's in Manhasset and I found the dress! It was the second one I tried on, but continued to try on more, but nothing was like this one. Its Demetrios style 942. Here's a pictures. It has to be custom ordered since i'm so darn short. I have to go back next week with my SHOES, which I dont have. I didnt think I needed them now. Where is a good place to get shoes?

Very Pretty!!! I would say you don't need to have your actual shoes. If you know what height shoe you want, any shoe with that height - like a summer sandal you already have, or the shoes you wear when you go to weddings as a guest - should do just fine. You just can't change your mind then, though.
Good luck shoe shopping! I heard craft shoes has a toooon of shoes to choose from - they are in commack on jericho, i plan to go next weekend - and I personally love sandy's shoes in massapequa.

The thing is I DONT wear high heels I have a low heel about 1 inch or a 3 inch heel that I can barely walk in. So i want a 2 inch heel. But since I dont wear heals as is, I dont want to waste money buying a shoe just for the height and end up not wearing it, ya know. But thanks for your advice.
that dress is GORGEOUS!!!! congrats!!!! betty helped me w/ my dress too! for shoes, i ended up ordering mine online from myglassslipper.com, but i'm sure if you bring shoes the same height as what you plan to wear day of you'll be fine.

The store should have shoes you can try the gown on with -- just tell them you need to borrow a 2' heel for the fitting, they will do it. Its a beautiful dress, congrats!

that is a beautiful dress!! Kraft shoes in Commack has a very large selection of shoes. it thats not too far for you, maybe you can try that.
