After searching for a while, I finally found a dress for my e-party on March 6th. I plan on getting my hair done in a side swept pony tail to the left shoulder - any pics would be appreciated!!
I also need to get it altered a` little (hem, and taken in a little) Does anyone know of someone who does good/affordable alterations at their house or somewhere?

Wow, I didn't even think of trying Dress Barn. I went crazy looking for this dress - Macy's only had one in the wrong size and apparently no one else has any in stock. Is it Betsy & Adam?

I used a woman in Bellmore for a couple of dresses - her name is Marisa
(516) 804-2772 - she is really nice and i found her to be pretty reasonable

No prob - she is quick but I think it counts on how much stuff she has going on. I would def call her before the dress arrives to see what her sked is like - and then you can plan accordingly.

Thank you!! I agree Eve Longoria and Carrie Underwood always look great. I loved Carrie Underwood's hair from the Grammys. I was thinking something along the lines of this:
