Got my favors today!!!
My mom and I ran around all day today....I really feel like it's getting close now. ![]()
First we picked up my dress (yay!). I tried it on and took pics, I am very happy with Curves right now because it has done a lot for me since I put the dress order in back in January. The only thing I MUST work on is my abs, but that's OK because that's motivation! It's a little tight in the waist.
Then we headed off to the favor place. The owner, A.J. is great, he really sits down with you and goes over exactly what you want and gets a great deal for you. He spent an hour with us just for favors! He also operates the website www.wholesalefavors.com. You can go to the store in Glendale, Queens , by appt only on Saturdays. Here is his info: 67-03 Myrtle Ave, Glendale, 718-386-9076. I am attaching a pic of the favors below. They will be wrapped in an organza bag with a ribbon that has my and FH names on it.![]()
I then met with my Florist, Village Flowers on Metropolitan Ave in Queens, they were great. I am going for a fall theme, since the wedding is in late September. I am having dark red, lighter red, orangey-yellow and cream roses with hypernicum berries. FH will have a cream colored rose for boutinierre, my MOH will have red and orangey roses wit the berries, the BMs will have the light and dark red roses with the berries. The groomsmen and fathers will have hypernicum boutinierres. I'm so excited! Anyway, here are my favors:
