Same here! From the son of FH's famiy friends. No girlfriend, just and Guest! Actually, the mother of the family responded for him with the 'and guest.'

ugh..that is so annoying! we didn't invite anyone with a guest unless they were married, engaged or in a long term committed relationship. So far only one person asked if he can bring a date..it is my uncle so i said its okay.

ANNOYING. That only happened to us with FH's cousin and the whole kid thing... we have been getting random cancelations though.... 3 more and I can get a sushi bar as an add on LOL!
