Got my first no.....I know....so early

Hi..
I gave out about 30 change the date cards last week and a lady I work with gave me my first 'I'm sorry I can't go I'm going on a cruise' letter.... Soooo sad.....

How do people resist from taking no's as a personal thing?

Sorry to hear that :( It's def not personal...she just has somewhere else to be, if she didn't have the cruise I'm sure she would be right there at your wedding!!

I wouldn't take that personally, she booked a vacation that she probably paid for already.

Dont take it personally!! There are going to be plenty of people who say they cant make it bc of vacations/other commitments, dont stress it!

Don't take it personal, I'm sure it's nothing against you. She must have been planning that cruise forever to be booked already.

I think you are right. She was telling me all about it. She is also going to be visiting her son in Prague on the same trip.

I can't imagine myself not second guessing every 'no' response...lol.

ya know i never even thought about that...sending out the STD's and people already saying no...kinda makes me not wanna send them out lol

I'm expecting people to not send the cards back and show up. Or respond that they are coming and not show up. I'm very nervous...

awww sorry to hear that!!! but look at it this way one less person to pay for!!! And besides, the people that are closest to you, the ones that will make your day really special, will be there

We are on a budget...so I will look at it as one less to pay for....lol.
