got my I-phone
but it was a whole ordeal because we didn't know apple doesn't accept cash for i-phones...it hasta be by credit or debit with a cc logo. FH's debit card had no logo and mine didn't have enough for 2 iphones so we had to go to the bank put the cash we took out of our account back into the account and go back to apple...but...we have them and they are activated...
so...here's what i found out
the activation is SUPER FAST (provided you have good credit of course) if u buy ur i phone from apple...ur only buying the phone...you go home plug it into your comp and follow the steps...we had both i phones activated and up and running within 20 minutes.
the battery does have to be changed by apple but if u take it to an apple store (theres one in roosevelt field) you call get an appt. take it in and they have it done in about 20 mins.
the ringtones...you do only get a few stock ones...however...when you have mp3s in I-tunes you can crop that mp3 to start and end at whatever point you choose and convert it to be a ringtone for your iphone and its a charge of .99 cents for every ringtone.
camera - wicked good
internet - pretty fast (sometimes if ur in a bad area it may slow down but for the most part its good.
the features seem pretty awesome but i'll let you guys know how it goes as I get to use it more.
