Got My Marriage License!

We went to the Town Hall in Patchogue last night because they are open until 6:30. It was funny to be surrounded by brides and grooms! It took about a 1/2 hour, between filling out the form, waiting, and then going in and having it typed up. All we needed was our birth certificates (with raised seal) and licenses and you needed to know the country your parents were born in (not specific hospital or town like we had thought). We were able to pay cash ($25) and we got our goody bag (nothing special, Glad throw away dish, secret deodorant, sample of Tide and Downy)...FH was disappointed that was all there was in there!!! LOL!

All in all it was painless, hope this helps anyone going to do this soon!

I was just going to do the same post! We went today during lunch to Huntington town hall. It took maybe 15 minutes, and they accept cash or check, if anyone's interested. And yes, stacedz, the goody bag was LAME! we got the same thing!
