I finally got my first mac after years of battling the crappy pc. Being a designer its a must to get a mac but have the skills to design on both pc and mac.
I have to say it was the easiest install ever... just plugged everything in and it worked. NO DRIVERS - no disks. AMAZED!!!
Now i got the fastest must insane machine ever built and look i am on liweddings and not playing around doing video editing or design work IoI

Yay so exciting!! Now if you want some projects for your new mac you can take on my monogram!!! lol...I have no idea how to even try to start one without hiring someone to do it!!

I have a mac too! Maybe you can help me use it because I have no idea what I'm doing, I'm not sure why I got a mac, I think I liked the color.

hahah sure well you need to give me a idea first.. i have to load up my progs in the next few days though. Should get my adobe suite, quark, and word/excel for mac tomorrow or thursday.
Sure i guess i could help.. any questions give me a scream. the only thing i dont know how to setup but i am going to ask my boss tomorrow is the mail aspect.

YESS!!! Good for you! I bought my first Mac a little over a year ago and I love it. It is so super-easy and compatible with everything - anytime you want to join a wireless network it picks it up automatically. To plug into a printer that isn't yours, you don't need a driver disk, you just plug it in your USB port and hit Print. I'm never going back to PCs.
Oh hey, I do have a lack of software for it, though (no photoshop or even MS Word/Paint to make STDs and other DIYs! Oh no!), so if you find any you want to share, I'll be your new best friend...

No I'm just kidding!! I am actually going to my MOH's this weekend in philly and we are going to play around with her new mac and see if we can come up with some fun ideas so I can get some diy stuff started for the wedding. Thanks though and good luck with your new computer!!!
