After all the horror stories about passports I was worried I didn't allow enough time to get mine, but it arrived 5 days after I sent it!! I had to pay to expedited it, which ended up costing 180 bucks!! Now I just hope my FH gets his soon too, but I have no clue how fast the Canadian passports are.

You are so lucky, I am getting irritated, I haven't gotten mine yet and I applied in April, FH is getting pissed, he wants to go and get our marriage license. I'm sure it'll come anyday now

Mine took 2x that to arrive and I also paid the expedited service .... but at least it didn't take months to arrive.
Totally worth the to me.

I had to call and lie and say I was traveling earlier than I had planned, but I got it, 16 weeks later. We didn't expefite it because we figured from May 5th until September was plenty of time, not realizing we'd need our birth certificates!

If you have any difficulties getting your passport, and it's getting close to the wire, call your local representative. I went to Mexico last week, and after 16 weeks, still didn't have my passport. I called Tim Bishop's office, and it was mailed out the next day.
