we took our foccus test back in july and they still havent called us in to go over it.....
we have to still do it....I was told it gets very interesting when you go over your answers with you FH!
We recently did ours and we did pre-cana already. I thought the whole process was very interesting.
We did ours a few weeks ago. It took about a half hour or so. Haven't received a call about meeting with a 'facilitator' yet...
We've started pre-cana, but haven't heard anything about FOCCUS. What is it?
What exactly is FOCCUS?
FOCCUS is a test to see just how compatible you and your FH are at least thats what I got out of the way the deacon explained it, he said its a test to get you to open up about yourself and it hits on topics you may not have discussed in your relationship- like finances, is an example he gave us, so he said its something new because there is too much divorce so the catholic church is trying to prevent it by getting you to communicate more - this way you find out NOW instead of after your married. fix the issues if there are any- and resolve them now. pretty interesting- cant wait to take it.

Not all churches do this- lucky me!!! My FH parish does. but im curious to see how we pair up. and I'd love to see his views on the same questions. I think I will def get to know know him inside a bit better than I allready think I know.
