Got my Proofs!
Just wanted to share that I picked up my proofs last night and they are gorgeous! Any of you booking with Paul Marino have nothing to worry about. The shots at Old Westbury Gardens are gorgeous and so are all the others! The only thing I am not happy about (and this is not Paul's fault) is the color the girls dresses come out on film. Not just the professional pics but the ones taken by guests too...keep that in mind when picking bridesmaid dresses. My dresses were 'lavendar' which is not the word I would use, but try to picture somewhere between lavendar and purple. On film they tend to come out periwinkle! I've noticed that line in contracts with vendors where they say they cannot be responsible for how certain colors appear on film and it does actually happen. I don't know what you can actually do about it, but just thought I would mention. Anyway, proofs are spectacular, can't wait to pick the album!

A question regarding your girls dresses...
Who was the maker of your bridesmaids dresses? I'm just wondering if it's the same color that I got and if I'm going to have the same problem.... my girls dresses are by Bari-Jay and the name of the color is Victorian... Just wondering!!! Thanks!!!

Would you believe that I can't remember? But they were not Bari-Jay and the color name was actually lavendar. But I have seen that Victorian color and it is actually kind of close. I wouldn't worry too much about it. It just depends on the material and the light...in some photos the color is right and in others it looks more of a grey/blue.

Lee... Quick Question...
Hi, glad to hear your proofs came got looking great. We just booked Paul Marino yesterday morning. My fiance and I think he's great. Also, I was thinking about having lavender dresses also. Would you recommend a darker purple? I'm deciding between lavender and a dark purple. Thanks!

Lee... Quick Question...
Melissa - you will be thrilled with your photos. Besides the fact that Paul is just a great guy to begin with. It's hard to say if purple would be better. Like I said, in some photos they look great, in others, the shade is different. Not enough to upset me. Personally, I just thought purple was too dark and I absolutely loved this color. It's possible that even a lighter color than what mine was would have different results. I say to just go with a color you love and would love to look at all day!
