for $140 bucks - my credit card was having a sale. but i can't find wii fit plus ANYWHERE. it's sold out across the planet. i hate video games - Wii is useless withouth the fit!

really!?? I've tried everywhere (bjs, costco, gamestop & amazon) plus walmart, target, sears, etccccc. The ONLY place I can find it right now is Amazon but they are selling it for almost double the actual cost. The guy at gamestop said Nintendo stopped producing them bc they are trying to increase demand. Well I'm demanding!!!

This is what happened when the Wii Fit came out. It was so hard to find!
ETA: Why not trying a different work out game thingy? Maybe like the Jillian Michael's or something? Also, there's a new game 'Just Dance' and it looks like so much fun and you really move so that might be a fun exercise game and you don't need anything but the two controllers! HTH!

I'm pretty sure you need the board to do jillians workout or any of the workout games. Does anyone know if that's right?

The EA Sports Active More Workouts is MUCH better than wii fit plus ...
if i were you, i'd look to buy a regular 'Wii Fit' bundle (not wii fit plus) and then buy the Wii Fit Plus game only ... the boards have not changed and you'll end up paying approx the same

Everytime I see the commercial I want it more and more!
ETA: There are definitely exercise games that you don't need the balance board. I know one has a camera that mounts on top of the TV and tracks your movement. It's supposed to be good and it corrects your form and everything, but I'm skeptical.
