Got our marriage license this morning!!!

Got our marriage license this morning!!!

And I have to say it was very quick and painless. FH and I went to the Queens marriage bureau and the whole process took less than 15 minutes. I highly suggest filling out the forms online first before going because it really does save time.

6.5 weeks to go!

Here's the link that goes straight to the application. Make sure you fill each page out in a timely matter because it got 'timed out' a couple of times on me when I was doing it.

Congratulations!!!! Did you go to the one on Queens Blvd in Kew Gardens? That's where we're planning on going and glad to hear it was painless - we're probably going to go in the next two weeks.

yes 60 days is correct. And yes we went to the one in Kew Gardens. When you get to the building, don't use the entrance on Queens Blvd. You have to walk around the right side of the building to the entrance in the back that is for 'Summons' and 'Marriage Bureau'.

you can go to either Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn or Staten Island bureau. Doesn't matter which one. We went to Queens since it was the most convenient for us.
