And I have to say it was very quick and painless. FH and I went to the Queens marriage bureau and the whole process took less than 15 minutes. I highly suggest filling out the forms online first before going because it really does save time.

you can go to either Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn or Staten Island bureau. Doesn't matter which one. We went to Queens since it was the most convenient for us.
Sorry but i am soo naive with this I have no idea where to go! So there is no one in Long Island?
ETA: Is it called a 'Marriage Bauru' the place where I have to go get that So i can google it???

Long Island might be different. Maybe one of the LI girls can help you out with that. We are getting married in my church in the Bronx.
