Got some checks this week!

So this week we gave the final deposit to our venue until next year! Our last payment will be due like two weeks before the wedding! As of right now we have about 1/4 of the hall paid off and FH and I plan to put down about another 2k before the end of this year as so next year it won't be such a HUGE chunk.

We also booked our e-pic session with Ken Hild!!! We're doing them Sept. 30th out in Montauk and I am SO excited!!!

We also made the decision to DIY all of our paper stuff. All the invites, rsvps, programs... everything we're going to DIY. After seeing some quotes from invitation people I seriously cannot fathom spending that much money and FH had a freak out about the money so... we're gonna DIY it all.

I've been able to take some months 'off' from wedding planning so its been nice to get some checks this week! I think once the e-pics hit... we'll be back in wedding planning FULL SWING and warp speed! We've been engaged almost 8 months now and its been flying by... so I'm scared of the next 16 months also flying by!

Congrats, nice to be done with Venue payments for a while! It's great that you will be able to pay more towards it too to lighten the month of payment.

Go Girl and DIY! It's a big task but I'm sure you and FH can pull it off, make sure you post lots of pics when you start so I can get my DIY fix hehehe.
