Gotham Hall Bridal show Review

For all you ladies who were wondering about this crazy Who Ha event!!! Well it definitely was over the top but I don't think that I would pay $125-$150 out of my own pocket for a ticket.
I walked in and was overwhelmed by a beautiful Hoopa in the entrance made by Flower Michele, it was breath taking. I made my way around the building visiting each stand. All high end vendors giving helpful advice but nothing I could afford.
In the balcony was the best part. They were doing free hair trials. I passed I didn't want to sit and wait for all that time. They were also doing eyebrow waxing. I ventured and took them up on the free waxing since I was overdo. The woman did a great job. I think it was the John Barrett salon.
I sampled Cakes by Jay they were delicious. I saw Sylvia Weinstock, unfortunately no samples of her cakes but it was cool to see her roaming around.
The best part was the $1500 value gift bag! I received Victoria secret bachlorette panties, essie nailpolish, Vincent longo lipsticks,maybeline lipsticks, GC for a facial peel, Sammy hair product, champagne, hypnotic, pomegranate martini mix, treson perfume, gc $500 galit couture in Brooklyn, gc $500 Kleinfelds, free thanks with an order of Spark stationary, godiva chocolate....you get the idea! It was a good time.
Did anybody else go?

yeah you can't use it towards your previous purchase, like i wouldn't be able to put it towards my dress payment or the alterations. Yeah i def read wrong

Yeah I was about to say that makes no sense, lol. But if I had one and bought my dress today, I could have used it right?? You cant use it bec you already bought your dress GOT IT!!

Yeah I was about to say that makes no sense, lol. But if I had one and bought my dress today, I could have used it right?? You cant use it bec you already bought your dress GOT IT!!

I cant use it towards my dress but i can use it towards anything else in the store, like a veil, headpiece or Jayli suggested a MOB dress which is a great idea

I knew i couldnt put any of it towards my dress from last night.

I was there too
but please note that the blue bottom is not the martini mix they served.. It is a bath bubble!!
The sample food there was so good.....
only thing is, it is not worth to pay $125 to go...

I know...god that would taste awful!!1

For the kleinfeld GC,
You can't use it if you already brought the dress, but if you only put the deposit down and you can use it toward your balcance. (no sale items, such as truck show or sample sales)
and it is $500 for $2500 or more order only
and I think it is around $200 for gowns over $1500
and you only get $100 discount for veils, accessories if you order your dress there. which mean you can't just use the gc to buy a veil without the dress.
and you can't combine 2 gc together..

I dont know the exact day, I beieved it is good thru Mid april 2008.

It cant be used on previous purchases. How it works is you buy the dress, leave the deposit, and when you make the next payment you can use the certificate. Otherwise my mom would be using it on her dress! I am 99% sure that I am right but the certificates are home and I am at school. But whoever has one read it closely.

they try to get you buy the veil from them too, so they give you EXTRA $100 for Veil or hairpieces after the $500 for you dress. so you dont' have to chose $500-dress vs $100- veil..

Espo - you are confused. You CAN NOT use it toward your dress. The dress must be purchased after the show. You already got yours. If you buy your dress after the show, then after your dress comes in you can use the $500. You will only be able to use money toward your mom's dress or your head piece - NOT your dress.
