For all you ladies who were wondering about this crazy Who Ha event!!! Well it definitely was over the top but I don't think that I would pay $125-$150 out of my own pocket for a ticket. I walked in and was overwhelmed by a beautiful Hoopa in the entrance made by Flower Michele, it was breath taking. I made my way around the building visiting each stand. All high end vendors giving helpful advice but nothing I could afford. In the balcony was the best part. They were doing free hair trials. I passed I didn't want to sit and wait for all that time. They were also doing eyebrow waxing. I ventured and took them up on the free waxing since I was overdo. The woman did a great job. I think it was the John Barrett salon. I sampled Cakes by Jay they were delicious. I saw Sylvia Weinstock, unfortunately no samples of her cakes but it was cool to see her roaming around. The best part was the $1500 value gift bag! I received Victoria secret bachlorette panties, essie nailpolish, Vincent longo lipsticks, maybeline lipsticks, GC for a facial peel, Sammy hair product, champagne, hypnotic, pomegranate martini mix, treson perfume, gc $500 galit couture in Brooklyn, gc $500 Kleinfelds, free thanks with an order of Spark stationary, godiva chocolate....you get the idea! It was a good time. Did anybody else go?

Espo - you are confused. You CAN NOT use it toward your dress. The dress must be purchased after the show. You already got yours. If you buy your dress after the show, then after your dress comes in you can use the $500. You will only be able to use money toward your mom's dress or your head piece - NOT your dress.
Ooooh i am really confused sorry...I didnt know you had to purchase it after the show and then pay the rest later with a gc...Oooh ok so its back to the original plan hahaha. Hmmm you know what I think i would put it towards the veil then, i already am planning on spending so and so money on the dress but wasnt sure if i should get the veil so now i think i just will do that

yeah but they also carry the big named designers so it can get expensive. I just wouldn't have expected to pay that much for a veil, i just wish they didn't give me that veil to try with my dress lol.

I looked at veils there and they have plenty that are under $500 that have beading and stuff. I bought my gown at BR though and couldn't bring myself to buy a veil without my dress on.

yeah i am definitely gonna check out their other selections too. And i agree you have to see how it goes with the dress. The veil i tried on went great with my dress but it didnt go well with another dress that i tried on before it.

Those things are always a crock though, so dont feel bad. My mom got her gown there and it was over $2000 and she got a trunk show price, so Im sure they would have told her no more discounts anyway.

the funny thing about veil too.. they may not come from the same designer of your dress and I talked to people in macy (demetrio)(spelling) they said most of their veils are from different place. so it really doesn't matter how much you spend on the veils, (who knows the desinger) Veil is just a veil unless your gown designer special design a speical veil for a speical gown, othewise you can always find another veil to match your gown. I am thinking to get a custom made veil and I think it will still cheaper than KF

Re: Gotham Hall Bridal show Review
A couple of hundreds isnt bad, but 3000, thats way too much for a piece of tulle and bead and cystals.

Oh ic.. so it is not they design one and sell it for 3000, she asked the designer to make her a speical one to match the dress.
