So both fiance and I live in DC but having our wedding in new york. Don't want a catering hall though. Something less traditional. Any recc's ladies!!!???
Also im searching for a planner because I am planning from afar. Any reccs on that one? A long island or ny planner would be good. Thanks again!

As for a planner, the most budget friendly I saw was Once Upon an Event (I got their name from the girls on the boards here!
There's tons of venues on LI that could definitely fit what you want. Do you have any other wants/needs for the venue (by the water, etc.)?

I am using Cloud Nove Events as my Day of Coordinator, but they also do wedding planning. They have been amazing so far!
