Re: Gown designers and their price ranges
My gown is a Lazaro, which is also affiliated with Jim Hjelm and Alvina Valentia. I am not sure about the price range but the sticker price on mine (NOT what I paid!!) was $4250. I know Jim Hjelms are more reasonably priced and absolutely gorgeous (my sister's was JH). I think hers was around 1900 (but that was 6 years ago). Anyway... that's all I know, but at least it's something! LOL

A great site for you to check out for price ranges is preownedweddingdresses.com. Once you click 'search' you can click on any designer and see the dresses for sale-on each listing they have what they originally paid for the dress. Then I would cross reference ebay. Those sites really helped me out a lot. Hope they help you too!

Re: Gown designers and their price ranges
Brides.com has an awesome price range as well! Whenever I google a certain dress or style, the brides.com site is always among one of the first that come up. It's great and very reliable!
I believe that Pronovias, La Sposa and San Patrick gowns (all under the Pronovias umbrella company) go for $1500-3000.
Please note that when I say Pronovias, I am NOT including Manuel Mota, Valentina Sposa or Elie Saab. These are all under the Pronovias umbrella as well but are much more expensive.. Especially Valentina Sposa and Elie Saab which can go up to $10k.
You can get an idea of dress costs by signing up to theknot.com.
Oh and I think that Enzoani gowns go for $1500-3000. I tried one on at RK Bridal for $2400. But there is line called Blue by Enzoani that is a lot less expensive and still very pretty.

Knot.com and Kleinfelds.com both have price ranges for each individual gown so you could try that as well.
