Thanks as always...

Demetrios: Macy's and Flowerama in Elmont has them.

Eve of Milady: Flowerama in Elmont and Charisol in Flushing.

I don't know about the others. But if you can go to their websites to find out. You can also go to theknot and choose by designer and then choose NY and see what bridal salons come up. Good Luck!!
Have you made any appointments for Friday?

Is this the Commack Wedding Center Liz? How was the service? I went to see photography and video and was turned off by the son.

They have Eve of Milady at RK Bridal.
Wanda, was it the son in law at Commack Wedding Center? I remember thinking that he will ruin the family business soon. Everybody else seemed so nice.

CW, Kleinfeld is in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, 85th Street and 5th Avenue. I have been having a fantastic experience!

Re: Gown designers and where to go for them

Wanda: They're having a sample sale at Kleinfeld's on Monday. I have an appointment but I think I'm going to cancel b/c if you buy a dress at the sample sale, they make you bring it home with you and then bring it back for the alterations. I have no where to put a gown. Oh, I don't know if it's just for a sample sale, but I had to leave my credit card # with them to hold the appointment. And if you don't cancel 2 days before the appointment, they charge you $50.
Here's the e-mail I received from the knot about it.

I got my Eve of Milady at RK Bridal. Check them out. They have a wide variety of designers.

Re: Gown designers and where to go for them

I purchased my Eve of Milady dress at the Wedding Plaza in Baldwin and I know that they also carry Demetrios, Impressions and Jasmine gowns because some of the gowns I was looking at were by does designers. Also, I know that Flowerama has alot of Demetrios gown. I hope this helps.

Re: Gown designers and where to go for them

I want to go to RK Bridal but my mom's schedule is wacky so she can't join me unless its a Saturday and I don't want to go on a Saturday. For those that have gone on Sat is it really bad? Brides everywhere...

Here is my plan so far: Friday going to Wedding Plaza (they have alot of Jasmine gowns I am interested in trying on), Monday appt at Princess Bridals (she wasn't so bad unless I spoke with someone else-very helpful actually) and if I can make it I want to go to Beautiful Brides. Next Saturday is Lillette's.

Re: Gown designers and where to go for them

We went to RK Bridal on a Saturday to pick out bridesmaid dresses for my best friend's wedding and it wasn't crowded at all. I think they have all the designers you're looking at.

Meghan do I have to make an appt?

Re: Gown designers and where to go for them

Wanda: I went last Saturday with my friend (she bought her dress) and it wasn't bad at all. We got there at 9:45 (it officially opens at 10). We were there until about 1:00 and it was starting to get crowded at that time (especially the bridesmaids section). I don't think they take appointments. You have to go to the dressing room area and put your name on a list. When you're called, you are assigned a person and start trying on dresses. I don't think there's a time limit for brides, but they only give you 30 mins to try on bridesmaids dresses. You should call them to double check about the appointment thing.
