gown preservation (xpost from NW board)

can anyone recommend a place to take my gown to be preserved? i don't want to spend an arm and a leg at a wedding salon... was thinking more like a reliable dry cleaner or something that would cost in the $100 range.

prefer the dix hills/huntington/commack area

This right in your area...but Plaza French Cleaners in East Meadow will clean and preserve it for $140. The owner literally saved my dress on the morning of my wedding! Great people there!
