Gown preserving....

I got my gown last week and the wedding is in 18 months, so I was told to put it in a garmet bag with a white sheet around it. Here is my question, I got a sheet that fits around it, it is white and is a 100 percent cotton sheet made out of the tee shirt material. Is that okay to use instead of a cotton/polyester sheet? Help!

Re: Gown preserving....

I've heard on these boards that the key is that the gown needs to breathe -- so a plastic garment bag is no good.

Personally, I'd call the bridal shop and ask them...
