Gown shopping....

Posted my Bridal Reflections Review of my first gown shopping trip over on BHB! Thanks for your help ladies....

Any other Bridal shop recommendations? Anyone been to Adrienne's? Reviews? Thx.

My opinion is most of the bad reviews come from the Carle Place location only.

I got mine from Macy's in Manhasset. But that's cause I could price haggle. Macy's has a policy of trying to beat lower prices. I found 'the one' then she brought the price down. I said I still wasn't sure. She gave me one of those 'do it now' speeches but I said Id come back by the end of the week with a better price.

She didnt believe me LOL!!

I was back two days later with a print out from onefineday.cc that had the same dress quote much lower.

They finally agreed they'd order the dress for me at that price then said they couldnt cause it was too low. Finally they offered it to me for like $200 more than the lowest price I had. Which was fine with me cause that makes them responsible for it and such.

So I got my $2100 gown for $1200.

After taxes and alteration cap was $1547. My budget was $1500 so I am at least glad it was close to budget.

I personally had a bad experience with Adriannes! I picked out like 4 dresses to try on and didnt like any of them. The sales lady kept pushing a dress that I said I didnt like on me until finally I just said no I hate that dress. Then when I told her that I just didnt get 'that feeling' from any of the dresses, she gave me a dirty look.

I thought the women at Lillettes in Baldwin as well as Paradise Bridal in Patchogue were all really nice and helpful!
