Gown Shopping

I am going to start making appointments to look at gowns. Any places you recommend??

I already went to Bridal reflections ( not a good experience) and to Gowns by Lousie.

I herd for Kleinfields you have to leave a credit card # when you make your appointment is that true?? I was going to try the bridal salon also. I always pass by there.

really, i never heard that, but who knows it might be true...i guess ask on bhb where more girls have gotten married already or at least already bought their dress.

I've heard that too - that they charge you $50 if you miss your appt. They also give you a heads up saying 'our dresses start at such and such a price'. I've heard too many horror stories about that place. Unless you're covered in labels and dripping jewels - you're treated like dirt. Not what I want for my dress shopping experiences. Good luck in your hunt!!

yeah their dresses start at $1500, i do understand letting people know ahead of time bc otherwise you're just wasting your time and making a trip out there for no reason...Ive heard good and bad stories...It depends on the salesperson, i know there was one that was very stuck up and everyone complained about but there were also alot of them that people said were so nice and helpful...One name i do remember is Yulia or some ppl call her julia i think. And theres many others

Ok no prob...i want to lose a few more pounds first, but i am hoping to go in the next few weeks, end of jan, beginning of feb...or if i am really lucky in two weeks lol.

wedding salon in manhasset.. while you're in that neighborhood... you can check out macys bridal salon and head to roslyn for priscilla of boston...
