gown shopping update!
went to Bridal Reflections with my mom earlier and found 2 verrryyyyy beautiful gowns, both of them from - Ines Di Santo! (seriously, she's my new discovery and fast becoming my fave designer!!!)
i tried several gowns but we, surprisingly, quickly narrowed it down to two gowns - each very different from each other! one is a ball gown and the other is a trumpet/very drop waist then 'poofs' down just above my knee. i didn't take a picture (although i shouldve asked *duh*) but here it is:
the first is the Carlotta (ball gown), its so traditional, princessy-like and reminds me so much of Grace Kelly when she got married! i tried it on with the veil and headpiece and it's really a stunner...
the second (very different gown) is the Rita which is the trumpet style. with this gown, it's very chic, sophisticated and elegant at the same time. tried it on with a birdcage veil and it's soo beautiful!
there is a huge price difference between the two: the carlotta costs twice than the rita. but it's not a matter of price at this point... it's more like: i have to figure out what look i'm really going for!
their both winners though!
btw - i haven't officially said yes because i have just 1 more appointment to go to. plus, i really need to know what 'look' and 'feel' i'm going for. my theme is Royal Wedding but both gowns can go with the theme!
