Gown Shopping - What to wear?!

I'm going dress shopping next weekend and was just curious what I should bring/wear underneath? Strapless bra? spanx!? haha

Definatly a strapless bra & granny panties - unless you want to rear end on display!

white or cream undies so they don't show...first time i went shopping, I wore red ones! oopsie!

no spanx, too uncomfortable!

bring a strapless bra- altho most places have corsets, long line and strapless bras for you to wear

wear flats and something comfy and easy to get in and out of!

Definitely an outfit that is easy to get in and out.

A good strapless bra. I would wear boy short under wear, I made the mistake of one day wearing a thong.

Wear flats for comfort but you can bring heels to try on. A few stores I went to didnt have shoes to try on with the dress.

p.s. always bring a camera. even though some stores say no pics you could always sneak a picture in here and there.

spanx
granny panties
a heel around the height you want to wear on the day of
a bottle of water!

oh and make sure you wear your hair nicely. i made this mistake and i couldnt see the big picture because i had wet hair right out of the shower so i didnt like any of the dresses i tried on that day.

also, if you try on ballgowns, make sure they put a petticoat on you. a lot of salons didnt do this and this made the ballgowns look terrible on me.

I wore a strapless bra, my regular undies, and a short nude color slip so I could walk around and not feel weird!

Short heels, water, camera definitely

When I was trying on dresses someone gave me an awesome tip! Lavendar underwear is the most neutral color you can wear when trying on dresses that might be see through. TOTALLY wouldn't have thought it would but she was completely right.

Also, bring spanx if you think you might then them but no need to wear them with every dress and of course I strapless bra.

To wear I would wear either a dress or leggings. Things that are easy to take on and off and minimal clothing so you don't have things EVERYWHERE!

I just wore some white/ cream underwear and socks. I hate walking on store rugs. YUCK! I didn't wear a strapless, just went braless.

Light color full cover undies. I wore socks too/flip flops in the Summer. Most times a strapless bra other times a regual bra and tucked in the straps

ETA: Don't forget a hair tie..it gets hot really quick
