I've begun my gown and bm dress search but have found this interesting: How come all the 'recommended' shops are in Suffolk?? I'm in Mineola (and most of my bm) and don't really like that apparently there are no shops in my area Of course I know about BR in Carle Place but can anyone recommend somewhere else closer to home? TIA!

Re: Gown Shops in Nassau
i'm in mineola too! but yeah most of those places girls said before me are good places. I got my dress from bridal couture in manhasset. then literally about 2 blocks away is the wedding salon in manhasset. then priscilla of boston in roslyn on mineola avenue? I think that's it. then one on glen cove road as you head towards northern blvd from jericho turnpike. on the right side. wedding plaza in floral park also.
also if you end up liking pob make sure you check out the wedding salon too. I saw a lot of dresses from pob there a lot cheaper!
