gown stores

I went to Macys in Lake Grove, Bridal Suite in Patchogue and Paradise Bridals in Patchogue. Out of those 3, Bridal Suite had the best ones. A good selection but nice names and nice quality. Macys is primarily a demitrious store (which is who i picked for my dress) but Bridal Suite was the nicest.

gown stores

I got my dress (and my bridesmaids'' dresses, too) at the Bridal Suite in Patchogue. I''ve been really happy with them so far and I know a couple of people who got dresses there and were very happy with their dresses and with the taylor there, too. I''ve dealt with Elaine most of the times I''ve gone there - She''s very helpful and really nice. Lots of luck!!!

gown stores - La Couture

I got my dress @ La Couture in Cold Spring Harbor (Huntington area). They had a medium selection, but dresses that you won't see many other places. You probably won't see your dress on someone else or some not even in a magazine. That was a big thing for me. If I'm going to spend this money on a dress I don't want something everyone has seen already.

gown stores - If you want selection

and can get into NYC go to RK Bridal. www.rkbridal.com Its not fancy - definately a no frills kind of place, basicly self service. BUT they run the entire spectrum from affordable to mid priced gowns. If you are in the mid price range $1000.00 - 2500.00 I suggest you try Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. Wonderful service and selection. Sales staff that realy know what they are doing.

gown stores in Nassau

I looked in all three: Wedding Salon Manhasset - Wonderful high end selection, great staff, can be a little crazy because the place is so small. go during the week if you can. Bridal Coture Manhasset - Stay Away its a beautiful store but the people are terrible Peggy Peters - nice staff, ok selection but it was a little out of date for some reason

I agree with Fran...

Whatever you do...stay away from Bridal Couture-nasty staff and way too pushy. My cousin purchased her wedding dress & bridesmaid dresses from the Wedding Salon and her experience was wonderful. Peggy Peters does seem somewhat out of date. I looked at all three places and liked the Wedding Salon best for their service although I went with Flowerama in Macy's in Manhasset for my dress as well as the bridesmaids. I have been so pleased with them all around. Good luck!!!

I agree with Fran...

Thanks for the info. You guys are not the first to say bad things about Bridal Couture--and that is interesting to hear Peggy Peters is out of date.

adrienne`s in Islip

Another suggestion if you want to go further into Suffolk is Adrieene`s Bridal in Islip. I fell in love with the place so much so that even though I found my dress at Saks in Los Angeles (where I live)I had Adrienne`s (down the block from where my parents live) order it for me. They beat the price at Saks by $600!! The shop is located in a quaint renevated old home with a wrap around porch and a separate building for the 'Maid`s Cottage.' And the staff has been really terrific.
