Gowns I tried on today

here are some that I tried today. I can't find a pic of the Kenneth Pool ball gown but it had a beaded bodice and a skirt with pick ups (almost bustles) around the sides and back.

ETA - a bride bought this one today at the Saks Amsale trunk show.

It was fun having the Amsale rep get dresses for me.

Wow - beautiful dresses!

I love them all - but especially the one w/ the blue sash - stunning! The one you pick is amazing too though!

I didn't even notice the embroidery on the bottom of sash of the first dress until you pointed it out. So the white on white may be even harder for people to see. So is that dress your final decision? For some reason I still love the Watters dress, but I guess it's hard for me to say about the Amsale because I haven't seen it on you. The dress is beautiful though. Are you going to get the top and buttons in gold too?

I wish I had my magazines in front of me to see that other dress you tried on. I think that style (with the bustles all around) look so COOL. Your choice of dresses are wonderful. Good Luck chosing THE ONE!

The front is all beading. I think it's sexy/elegant.

I can't find a pic of the full length gown but it's Amsale blue label. The skirt has bustles and crystals at the back. I think it will look amazing in white.

FYI - it is not available in oyster (the color posted) anymore.

Just an FYI - the blue is MUCH lighter in person. It's pale blue.

The Yearick is amazing. I love bustles all over the skirt. I have liked all the gowns with bustles (plus a chapel train).

Yeah, the embrodiery makes it a hard choice since I am not into the gold/champagne color. I would get all white/silver embroidery beading. White silk/satin and white taffeta sash with silver embroidery and crystals.
I considered a purple sash but that might give my mom a heart attack. She called while I had on that Oyster colored dress. I guess she someone sensed that I was not in a white wedding gown. She said my for my 'first wedding' I should get married in white. She been married a couple of times.

My absolute favorite dress of all of them if I could get it without the pink beading (which is not an option) is this one..........Maggie Sottero. I contacted Maggie (twice) and she does not customize the beading.

Yes, it's sooo pretty. It looks amazing on too. I would pick the Amsale blue label collection. It's $5700.

No, I did not budget for $5700 but he told me that he'd rather see me wearing the $5700 than using it for anything else. He's such a great guy!!!!! He said we can cut the list which is at like 152 now. The minimum for the two halls he likes are 75 & 115.

So, if we cut off about 40 people, we stay in budget and I get the dress.

Not sure I want to do that though since the 40 people would come from his list more so than mine.

And this is the back of the Maggie that she will not customize. I have no idea why she picked pink beading. Not all women love pink.

Of course, I'd order the dress in white (assuming it had no pink beading).
